About the National Online Quiz

The INFLIBNET Centre, an Autonomous Inter-University Centre of the University Grants Commission (UGC), Ministry of Education, Government of India, is organizing a National Level Online Quiz on 11 August 2026, 3:30 PM, on the occasion of National Librarian's Day 2026, on 12 August 2026, commemorating the 134th Birth Anniversary of Padma Shri Prof. S. R. Ranganathan, the Father of Library Science in India.

The quiz aims to celebrate Prof. Ranganathan's enduring legacy, promote awareness of library and information science, and inspire students and professionals to appreciate the transformative role of libraries in education, research, innovation, and lifelong learning.
